20 year Anniversary

(From Fox News)

This picture was taken on Nov. 12, 1989, 3 days after travel restrictions were lifted by East Germany's government. I was 5 years old and lived in Germany at the time. I don't have too many memories from this age but I distinctly remember riding on a train with my family and visiting the Berlin Wall. We had a hammer or two and took some pieces of the Berlin Wall away with us.

I remember my Mom telling me how her and my dad, who was in the Air Force, took a train to East Germany when the wall was still up. I don't really remember why exactly but I do think that she said she visited a basket factory.

Frosty

I love the look of ice and the designs in it. The other morning we looked out and saw the frost on the grass and the gorgeous ice. I had to share.

What do you do for fun?

My 'HotStuff' little ones

(Yes, Kate is wearing an apron and her pink tutu.)

Josh and I had a spontaneous date night Tuesday, with the 2nd disc of Fellowship of the Ring on in the background and Josh kicking my butt with Monopoly.

My recent flea market find. A government issue wool blanket (The exact same kind that Josh had in Marine Corps boot camp I found out later.) It has found a home on Todd's bed.

The guys:

What else can I say, but that Kate loves stickers. And, yes, I did help her put them on her face.

Classic

Cold rainy Fall day,

comfy couch,

chatting with a friend,

kids playing together,

Halloween candy,

watching a classic...

...don't you just love how Julie Andrews was then and how she is now.

FALL...ing asleep

Todd was pretending to take a nap instead of getting in the van to go somewhere last week.

Kate and Todd were watching a movie while laying down and reading books.

This is Kate's new toddler bed that she loves because of the princesses on it, but especially Cinderella.

And Laundry Day.

Watch yourself...

The little man is already learning how to play checkers.

MaP

Todd had a blast hauling some of my fabric around the house last night.
He played with it all for awhile under the table.

Just this morning I put up this sweet map of the world in our dining room.

I moved the picture that had been on the map wall to the wall on the right and doubled up pics.

I also moved this sweet pic to the family pics in the stairwell.

I Got Booed!

My doorbell rang this evening and this is what I found! It is full of fun stuff! There are Halloween puppet kits, popcorn balls, cookies, etc.! Kate is having a BLaSt with the fun glittery halloween stickers she found in there. Plus I found out that Kate really like raisins. Score!

And to top it off, I just found The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown on t.v. What a fun Halloween classic! Kate started giggling watching Snoopy blow a leaf up in the air at the beginning. :)

How Great

I was able to be at the Castellanos' sealing last Saturday! How wonderful!

Todd is excellent coming up with all kinds of things.

Todd and Kate enjoy coloring their pages for Free Cookies from our grocery store every time we go grocery shoppingl
