Happy 50th Birthday to my Mom!
We drove down on Friday, spent the night at Aunt Clair and Uncle Will's house. On Saturday we went to my Mom's party at Belle Isle State Park. :)

After the party we went kayaking. It was the first time for Todd & Kate. On the first half of the trip I was stuck with the devil kayak. No matter how good you might be at kayaking, this kayak will drive you out of your mind! Todd was thrilled with it and especially loved swimming in the river at our half-way point with Uncle Will. Kate was a grouchy bum, but thankfully was taken by Aunt Clair and was put to sleep! Hooray for Aunt Clair!

Happy Birthday to your Mom! Funny how you and I keep missing our crossed paths, as in you're in VA when I'm not and I've been there when you're not, lol!
