Black

Black is beautiful has been my mantra for the past few days. First I painted my sewing desk, then Todd's bed, and then his dresser black. In the above photo shows what color Todd's bed was.
This is what my living room looked like the other day. Crazy, huh?

I took his bed apart in the morning, painted it in the morning & afternoon, and then he got to sleep on it that night. This is me finally putting it back together.

Love the new black!

The entirely finished bed & before I painted his dresser. Todd is measuring his pillow in the picture. He wanted me to measure myself, so I 'measured' myself and said that I was "absolutely perfect in every way" aka Mary Poppins LOL

The now-matching bedroom furniture! [it was different colors of nicked up wood before] I'm loving the globe on the dresser, too!

You totally make me want to start redoing the boys furniture. I love it! It looks so good. We have honey colored bunk beds that are SOO going to end up black one day.

They look great, Jenny. I need to do some painting in Jackson's room.
