Just for Entertainment...
I have so many pictures to upload from Todd & Kate's week with Grandma Wagers and the vacation that Josh & I went on. But until those get put up... I found these hilarious photos of us and had to share the fun...

Keeping up to date
Here is our garden as of yesterday. We have 2 tomato plants, herbs (basil, dill weed, cilantro, parsley, oregano, & tarragon), violets, pansies, impatiens, an okra, onions, & glorioso daisies.
We kept rocks between our garden and the back yard. Yesterday, Todd & I painted them to add some fun and color to the garden. We have a bee and a ladybug in there too.
Also yesterday, I had a wonderful surprise! Josh sent me flowers! I had never had flowers delivered before and it's absolutely wonderful!
Thanks Josh!

So Cool
Josh is in Irvine, California right now and went to a Whole Foods two nights ago. I was SO jealous and told him to take a picture for me! Why, right?
Well, I always see on food network challenges the contestants going shopping at Whole Foods. I have never seen one in person and think it's so awesome that Josh got to go to one. :)

Missing Daddy
Having Fun
Way back when... Grandma Wagers picked up a gingerbread house kit after Christmas for 2 bucks! Finally we pulled it out this morning only to find out that the house was broken. So, we ended up making a Christmas 'doggie house' because the walls were broken short and only one roof tile was unbroken. We laid the unbroken roof piece on top of the three short standing walls to make the doggie house.
I went out to watch Harry Potter for a break today and Ashley came over and babysat for me. I love these pics she took of Kate & Todd. Kate was eating chocolate pudding that she made.
And, of course, had to get a picture with Todd in it too!
Black
I took his bed apart in the morning, painted it in the morning & afternoon, and then he got to sleep on it that night. This is me finally putting it back together.
Love the new black!
The entirely finished bed & before I painted his dresser. Todd is measuring his pillow in the picture. He wanted me to measure myself, so I 'measured' myself and said that I was "absolutely perfect in every way" aka Mary Poppins LOL
The now-matching bedroom furniture! [it was different colors of nicked up wood before] I'm loving the globe on the dresser, too!
flea/farmer's market
Adventures
This was Kate's first time with a huge slice of watermelon. She wasn't so keen on putting her face on it to take a bite, so she would just grab pieces of it to eat it.
We now have another monkey climber. Kate has seen Todd climbing up everything in and out of the house. She loves to be at the window to watch whatever may be going on outside.
Kate now loves to fold her arms anytime she thinks that there should be a prayer.
And I just had to throw this pic in. I had Josh take this of us while we were waiting for the tire to get fixed. I ended up taking Todd & Kate out of the van because Kate was just too scared of the traffic so close to her and me not close to her. I love Todd especially in this photo. :)

Jersey
Josh and I decided about 3:30 this afternoon to have the kids and I come up to stay with him at his hotel in New Jersey, since he was going to end up staying another. It's supposed to be only 2 hours at the most. Well, first I had to rush pack everything. Got the neighbor down the street to take Polly for a walk evening and morning - Thanks Josh & Kari!
Well, I ended up taking a wrong turn... became pretty intimate with Central Philadelphia. Josh figured out how to get me back where I was supposed to be via phone. Then on the way to the right way, drove right next to the Phillie's Stadium where a game was going on. It was so neat.
We counted 7 water towers - thanks Todd.
We were finally about 5 minutes from the hotel, when a concrete slab fell off the back of a truck, crumbled (which for a concrete slab still means really big pieces) into pieces... Pieces big enough to give us a flat front right tire. Aaargh! A flat tire on the New Jersey Turnpike! And it was going to be dark soon, too...
Thank goodness for roadside assistance. Also, thank goodness for our flat tire being so close to the plant that Josh was working at. He got there first before the roadside assistance and the cop. :) Prayers definitely helped alot too. Poor Kate got so scared by the loud vehicles rushing by just a few feet away from our van.
Finally about 9pm we got on our way again and 10 minutes later we were checking in and being told that they upgraded us to the Presidential Suite! Yay for Josh being a Platinum Member! Woot Woot! Two huge king size beds, jacuzzi, mini kitchen & foyer... Now I know why Josh was always bragging about his rooms. I totally would too!
So... come tomorrow I am off to get a new tire on the van in a strange town with two little EXHAUSTED kids, then drive home, and do my big grocery shopping. Also, we found out today that Josh is leaving Saturday for California for about a week and a half.
Oh boy.

Happy Late 4th!
Josh had Friday off, so we had a long weekend together. So much fun! On Saturday, Liz & Kris came over from near Philly for the day and the Elders came over for dinner that evening too. It was alot of fun. Josh grilled some italian chicken and homemade mashed potatoes and corn on the cob from the local farmer's market. To top it all off, we had root beer floats, chex muddy buddies, and roasted marshmallows. :) We had sparklers, pop-its, & gyro blooms. Todd had so much fun seeing and playing with the fireworks and playing t-ball with the missionaries and Uncle Kris.
The fireworks that were done at Long's Park were done Sunday evening. So last night Josh, Todd, I watched them out of Todd's bedroom window. Our townhouse must be the best positioned townhouse out there, because Todd can just lay in his bed with his head on his pillow and watch the fireworks. Love It!
